About The Blog

Despite what the text on top tells you, you might have taken a look at the site and realised that this blog has nothing to do with any real or fictitious Kabootars (you might occasionally see something about Handsome or Jango somewhere in here, but it most probably won’t be written by a pigeon…or be from the point of view of a pigeon).

Jango Fett

This is not the Jango I’m talking about.

Anil Kapoor and Pigeon from Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja

This is the Jango I was talking about.

Yes, despite the fact that the magnificent birds which constitute the family Columbidae are awesome little winged creatures which are pretty ubiquitous around the world and have a long history of association with our own species (as food, pets, sport and means of communication), this blog has absolutely nothing to do with them.

Anyway, what this page is about is to tell you what the blog is about and to be frank it hasn’t been doing a very good job so far. So let us change tracks and get down to what this is really about…it is about the continuing obsession with pigeons in Anil Kapoor’s family.

Sonam Kapoor and Pigeon from Delhi-6

I’m pretty convinced that Masakali is Jango’s daughter.

Of course I’m kidding. If this blog truly was about the Kapoor-Kabootar nexus it would run out of material so fast that…well it has already run out. Then why am I even talking about it? I don’t really know. Why do we talk about anything? Because it’s important? Of course not! We all know that we do not talk about things because they are important (in fact when things are really important, we try really hard to not talk about them at all). And that’s what this blog is about. Talking about things which are not important as if they were really important…and talking about things that are really important in a way that makes them seem not so important…and everything in between. So basically everything. Yes, that’s what this blog is about. Everything.

And of course about the moving tale of the life and times of Handsome the Pigeon.

Pigeon from Maine Pyar Kiya

Who had a longer career than Bhagyashree.

  1. Dude organize your posts, change your theme. Your posts are like “khichidi”, can’t find where is the heading and where is it’s ending :/

    • What’s wrong with khichdi, dude? It is good for you and easy on the stomach 😉
On a more serious note, I don’t really know what you mean by “organize your posts”…and this theme seemed like the best fit to me. And if you actually read the text it should be clear where one post ends and another begins…if you still can’t tell, I’m really sorry but I don’t know what I can do about it. Nobody else seems to have a problem so far, so I am going to stick to status quo for now…and just say this…Shauq-e-deedaar hai to nazar paida kar.
